KUALA LUMPUR – ZALORA, Asia’s Online Fashion Destination launches the Jovian Mandagie for ZALORA collection today. Available for purchase now on zalora.com.my, the Edo collection offers 29 Japanese-inspired looks designed for the #ZALORAYA2018 campaign season.
Japanese motifs influence the collection, seen in prints of the Hokusai wave, Seigaiha wave, Cranes, Asanoha (hemp leaves), Shippou (seven treasure), Kiku (chrysanthemum flower), and Sakura (cherry blossom).
Silhouettes introduce kimono structures to modern kurungs, with details of ribbon wraps, flared sleeves, structured peplums, and complementary accents such as beaded sequins and adjustable Obi belts.
Fabrication seen in the collection’s patchwork and paneling, consists of heavy printed satin, fancy organza, crepe, mixed cotton, lace, and embellished brocade.
Rich brights are balanced by soft blues, and earthy tones, adding to the luxe look and feel.
“The collaboration with ZALORA has been something I look forward to every year, and realising that it has been a great 5 years has definitely made me thankful for the relationship that has gone beyond business, which I wish to cherish even more,” said Dato’ Jovian Mandagie.
Edo by Jovian Mandagie for ZALORA retails at RM551 to RM678, and is available now on zalora.com.my.
This collection will soon be launched in JStore Shah Alam, Bangsar, Bangi, Parkson Pavilion and Singapore by middle of March and onwards.
